Dear Summer/Autumn,
I want to apologize for my abrupt behavior last week. But, you need to understand that I need my space. Don’t get me wrong. I love having you around and you are always welcome back. Just don’t overstay your visit. How do you tell someone that it’s time to go, without hurting their feelings. I tried giving you subtle hints….hints like “We’re all hoping for a White Christmas, and not, Winter in Palm Springs.” It went right over your head, didn’t it. In any event, again, please accept my apology but don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Sincerely,
Winter

Beautiful letter, Jane 🙂 I love it. I wrote myself some haiku in December in which I complained by the long fall. And then, the winter came with her beautiful snow 🙂

Jane, I did not had the intention to put you to read them. I just wanted to say that I also was very upset. Because autumn don’t wanted to leave. Because winter don’t wanted to come. So, Jane, no need to search anything. Please do not do this! 🙂

What lovely photos, Jane. You know, I have a cold right now and feel like crap, but I still love “the cold of winter,” love all that white on the ground and those gray skies. Your photos capture the season’s beauty beautifully!

Thanks, Jane — I am feeling much better (although I had a brief sinus cold thing, but it’s almost gone). I like that idea of photos, of any art, capturing the artist — nice! 🙂

Good…now I’m fighting a sinus infection that just won’t stop. I decided, with some help, to just post a photo even if I don’t have much to write.
